The 'Scream' Thieves
Monoprint on printing paper. This monoprint was designed by me shortly after Munch's 'Scream' and 'Madonna' paintings were stolen from Norway's National Museum in Oslo. The hunt was hard but the thieves were rather fools in the process, despite the items went missing for some weeks. I just loved the idea that persons with very little skill could accomplish this and, as well, get caught. I find this item a humorous portrayal of the Norwegian mindset - that is, some Norwegians.
